Notary License Renewal

Notaries need to renew their license every 4 years, and we can help. If you are becoming a Notary for the first time, head back to our home page.

3 Hour vs 6 Hour Notary Class

If you’re already a Notary and your license is up for renewal, then you have the option to take a 3 Hour Class or you can still take the 6 Hour Class.

However, we HIGHLY suggest taking the 6 Hour Class anyway. It’s going to cover more details of Notary Law and prepare you very well for your test. Our Pass The Test Guarantee also only applies to the 6 Hour Class.

What are the steps?

The steps to renewing your license are exactly the same as when you first applied 4 years ago. The only difference is you have the option of taking the 3 Hour Class. After the class you will still:

  • Take your Notary Test
  • Get your fingerprints done
  • Receive your new commission number
  • Purchase your stamps and supplies
  • Take and file your oath and bond
Of course, we can help you with every step in this process. Keep in mind, you can only start the process within 6 months of your expiration date. As an example, if your license expires September 15th, then your test should be taken on or after March 15th.

Decide now if you’d like to take the 6 Hour or 3 Hour Class to get started!
